On September 23, a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of IvSU took place

The members of the Scientific and Technical Council analyzed the structure of the research and educational centers of IvSU and discussed the promising areas of their activities. Today, the university has 22 research and educational centers, carrying out their work in 18 scientific areas.

Vice-rector for research and project activities I.N. Smirnova made a report on the effectiveness of research activities of the scientific and pedagogical staff of IvSU. The aspects of performance, such as the effectiveness and relevance of scientific research, indicators of publishing activities, grant activity and development of the personnel potential of IvSU, were analyzed. Acting Rector A.A. Malygin noted that the issue of supporting young scientists and graduate students is a priority for the strategic development of the university. Among other vectors for the development of research activities, the issues of promoting scientific journals in scientometric databases, support for research and educational centers, development of project activities of students and other areas were identified.
